Samantha Bouquin is deeply interested in sound as an artform and the wide pallete of sound available to composers of electroacoustic music. Much of her work involves the processing of acoustic sound sources by both physical (prepared instruments) and electronically with effects processors and digital sound manipulation processes. Much of her chamber symphony work involves manipulation of the orchestral sounds both in live settings and in recordings. |
